Life & Hobbies

Dr. Caraveo was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He left to do undergraduate studies in San Antonio at St. Mary's University. From there, he continued his education in Dallas at Baylor College of Dentistry. After dental school, he joined the US Army as a captain and reported to his first duty station at Ft. Hood, TX. There, he was a dentist in the DENTAC unit before being attached to the 3rd Brigade 1st Infantry Division. He deployed with that unit in support of Opperation Enduring Freedom in Jalalabad, Afghanistan. He is married to his wife Lidia. The couple loves taking care of their two beloved children, daughter Mai and son Mateo. 

During his free time, Dr. Caraveo spends a lot of time keeping up his freshwater aquariums at home or taking care of the family dog, Willow. As a family, they like to watch movies or anime, play boardgames, poker, or video games. They also like to get out on their bikes and ride around the neighborhood or local park and go out to local state parks where Dr. Caraveo likes to shoot his Nikon camera and do landscape photography or astrophotography.
